Whether it's your first time at Oxford Family Vision or you're a seasoned regular, we're excited you're taking the step to look after your eyes. We want you to know our services are open to you, and our staff is ready to help. Dr. Michael Turner, a native of Mississippi and graduate of Southern College of Optometry, has been practicing since 1986. His current residence, Oxford Family Vision, opened in 2008 and has been serving the Oxford, Mississippi, community ever since.
Our primary mission has been to diagnose and treat eye diseases, plan for prevention and protection, and correct vision deterioration. Our on-site optical laboratory and glasses dispensary aid in this goal. Besides these benefits, our various services are sure to meet your every need and guarantee satisfaction.
Services
Eye Exams
Dr. Turner cares about the whole eye and examines every part to ensure no issue is overlooked. We utilize photo and oct screeners to eliminate the possibility of Macular Degeneration and Glaucoma, among other things. Depending on the situation, Dr. Turner might also use OCT scans, retinal photos, and a visual field test. Eye exam appointments should be made yearly, though if you suspect an infection, call immediately.
Frames and Lenses
Our selection of frames and lens types is immense, with an option to fit every taste. Therefore, we can help cultivate a selection based on your style and preferences. Additionally, our various lenses are perfect for every lifestyle and purpose. We offer high index, blue light, polycarbonate, Crizal avance', Varilux comfort, and transition lenses.
Contacts
Our contact selection is similar to our frames and lenses in that it is immense and comprehensive. We offer Avaria, Acuvue Oasys, and Air Optix. These options include contacts that should be changed daily, weekly, or whenever needed. Not only do we have these variations, but we also offer contacts made for aesthetic purposes. You can change your eye color at the drop of a hat or enhance your natural one with some of our contacts.
Lasik Eye Surgery
Dr. Turner is there for pre- and post-operative care for all patients undergoing Lasik eye surgery. The initial evaluation considers the patient's complete health background and determines the best course of action. His careful planning and persistent attention to detail put patients at ease.
